Joint Stock Company Agaras – private capital company established in 1991. In the beginning of practice the main activities were buying up of livestock and exporting them to Latvia, Estonia, and Poland. After the then government forbidden the export of the livestock, there were purchased a cattle-ranch of the agricultural company and equipped the first slaughterhouse which were the best in Lithuania by that time.
